If in the past on our desk, the computer tower occupied a lot of space, now this product is available in a more compact form, device known on the market as a mini-PC. A new kind of such a product is the Pipo X8, an unusual mini-PC that beside the regular specs bring a touchscreen display.

Thereby, Pipo X8 can be sold as a hybrid desktop-tablet device. From what we get to know, in matter of specs, this product packs a 7-inch display with a 1024 x 600 pixels, 2 GB of RAM memory, 32 or 64 GB space of internal storage, four USB ports (full), a HDMI one, and also an Ethernet port.

There’s a microSD card reader, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and a Intel Atom Z3735F / Z3736F Bay Trail processor inside its case. As the picture shows, Pipo X8 runs Windows 8.1, but according to the producer a dual-boot variant with Android could be launched in the future. The retail price is set at $100.
