pple protects its Watch with sapphire or tempered glass, depending on the model, but that doesn’t mean a good ol’ drop test isn’t going to get done on its unsuspecting face, or that it will remain unscathed, regardless of how light and durable the accessory might sound.

In the trio of drop tests below, the Apple Watch, which will start you off at $350, gets subjected to a very plausible scenario – you are trying to put it on your wrist, adjusting the strap, and it falls from about waist height.

As you can see, the wearable doesn’t take these drops lightly, and its screen gets cracked to pieces when it hits the pavement. Word to the wise – be careful when you put on your smart Apple Watch, as there are no cases for it… yet.
