Google announced its plan to start winding down Google+ Photos and replace it with the recently introduced Google Photos. From August 1 onwards, Google+ Photos will stop working on Android, and soon afterwards on the web and iOS.
Current Google+ Photos users are required to move their images and videos to Google Photos by installing the new standalone app.
